1/29/19
Attendance: Cotton, Harper, Masters, Roy
Agenda:
1) Attain - Masters is Staying Wednesdays, Cotton and Harper will stay on Thursdays. Teachers are going to invite students that are failing students.
2) Backward planning Absolute Value Assessment - Include review questions for: functions, graphing systems of inequalities (not multiple choice) students choose the method,
Harper - Question about solving systems - Substitution or Elimination, Roy and Masters agree that they need both. Substitution for Composite Functions later for Algebra 2 and Elimination for Algebra 2. In doing the elimination method, scaffold the notes and provide a graphic organizer for the steps. Do not give them really complicated elimination problems that require multiple steps for the coefficients to match.
3) Progress Monitoring #11 -
4) Statistics - Where to start? Topics are decided, where should we start.
Mini Embedded PD - Frayer Model and How you can use that for Math, Two column notes in Math
